The Village usually flushes hydrants twice a year in May and October. Watch the newsletters for specific dates later. If you notice that your water is dirty/filmy-just run your cold water for a few minutes to clear your service lines. Flushing is mandatory and it will clear stagnate water out of the system. During these times we ask that you please minimize usage during scheduled days from 9am to 2pm.
