Building, Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing Permits are all issued through Livingston County Building Department. Please go to Building Department – Livingston County, MI, to fill out and return it to them. Residential Building Permit Requirements

1. Land use Permit from the Village of Webberville, including Parcel ID Number and
address of the building site.
2. Completed building permit application.
3. Three sets of complete plans (stamped and reviewed by Village of Webberville’s Zoning if applicable) to include:
A. Site Plan of Property
B. Floor Plan- Including all square footage of levels 1st floor, 2nd floor, garage, bonus rooms, decks and porches.
C. Front, sides and rear elevations.
D. Foundation plans with Walkout details, if applicable
E. Windows and Door sizes and placement
F. Cross section detail
4. Michigan Energy Code- Insultation values for the building noted on your plans or alternatively RES Check.
5. Three copies of manufacturer spec sheets indicating the U-Values of the windows and doors.
6. Copy of signature I.D. (I.E driver’s license) and builder’s license.
** Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical permits are not included with the building permits.
